Learn Share Trading

To simplify, investing in shares means you give money to a company that is publicly listed (meaning the public can buy a share of the business) and they use the money to make more money. In return, you will receive a share or unit of the company.

During the year, people will buy and sell these shares (trade) and accordingly, the price of the share will rise and fall. At the end of the financial year in June, when they tally up how much money they have made for the year they may give you a piece of the profits called dividends.
